Dillon Lee Philo

Dillon Lee Philo, 42, of Phoenix, Oregon, passed away after a long battle with cancer August 7, 2018.

Dillon was born in Glendale, CA on March 30, 1976. He graduated from Culver City High School and attended Humbolt State University for several years before transferring to Central Oregon Community College in Bend, OR. He worked for Gensco Inc. in Bend and Tigard, OR, then moved to Medford to become Branch Manager.

Dillon was a passionate motorcycle enthusiast both on the track and the street. He was also an avid snowboarder and wakeboarder and loved all forms of water and boating activities. He loved all types of music. Dillon sought to accel at everything he did whether work, home or athletic activities.

Dillon was married to Robyn Plane of Salem, OR in 2011. Dillon loved his family above all else. He often said that Robyn and Melia were the love in his heart and the smile on his face. He loved nothing more than to spend time watching movies with them, holding Melia in his lap and kissing Robyn after they had been apart even for the shortest amount of time.

Dillon leaves a legacy of friends from wherever he went - California with childhood friends, to both Bend and Medford, Oregon. He lived in Copenhagen, Denmark where he attended International School and was the leader of skating club where he demonstrated his adept ability to speak Danish.

Dillon is survived by his loving wife, Robyn; daughter, Melia. parents, John & Vangie Sorensen and John & Mary Philo; his brother, Peter Sorensen; step-brother, Mike Heffernan and wife Tiffany; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm on August 11, 2018 at Perl Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Sabens of Grace Point Fellowship will be officiating. Interment to follow at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
