Jim Flora

Jim Flora was born to Alfred and Wilma Flora in Waynoka, Oklahoma on September 6, 1931. He passed peacefully in Eugene, Oregon on November 13, 2018 surrounded by family.

Jim graduated from Klamath Falls High School in 1949. Jim enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served 4 years during the Korean War. After returning stateside, he completed his 4 year degree at Southern Oregon College in Ashland, Oregon. Jim was a veneer salesman for several different companies during his career in the Medford and Eugene areas. He was a gifted salesman who was noted for his strength of character, honesty and integrity. Jim was an avid sportsman who was able to go on many treks in Canada. Jim explored most of Oregon in the 1950's, 60's and 70's without the crowds of today.

Jim had four children: Darrell, Jana, John and Joe. Jim married Sandra, the love of his life, in 1980. Sandy's kids were his kids: Mike, Renelle and Darrin. He loved all of his children equally. Jim adored his 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Living Hope Church at 2801 West 18th, Eugene, on Sunday December 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
