Alison Davis

March 3rd, 1968 -

September 25th, 2018

Alison Jane Davis, of Ashland, died September 25, 2018.

She was born March 3, 1968, in Eugene, to George Davis and Tedi Sacco. She grew up in Half Moon Bay, California, attending elementary school there, before moving to Woodinville, Washington, where she graduated from high school and began her work career in Seattle.

Alison moved to the Oregon Coast in 1993 and worked in Waldport for several years. It was one of the happiest times of her life. She moved to Ashland 15 years ago, working for Harry & David and then for the Petro truck stop in Phoenix, Oregon. Those were more happy years, as she made many lasting friends. Most recently she has been caring for her mother in Ashland.

Her favorite pastime was reading, and she was one of the library's most active borrowers, consuming a few books every week. She enjoyed a good spy novel most of all. Her most recent great find was The Eiger Sanction, an action mystery by Trevanian, later made into a movie starring Clint Eastwood. She was excited to remember the time 40 years ago when she rode the ski chairlift with Mr. Eastwood.

Alison is survived by her mother, Tedi Sacco, of Ashland, her father, George Davis, of Littleton, Colorado, her brother, Doug Davis, of Puyallup, Washington, and her brother, Greg Davis, of Sammamish, Washington.

A private memorial will be held by the family.
