Ken Gentry

A beloved son and father, Ken Gentry passed away on September 24 of natural causes. He was born a second child of Carolyn and Kenneth Gentry. Kenny was born in Boise, Idaho at St. Luke's hospital, and was raised in Boise and later Bellevue, Washington, and graduated at Medford High School in Oregon. He entered the' Navy as an Antisubmarine Air Controller served from November 1984 to December 1991. He loved his naval service and was very patriotic.

Kenny was blessed with a beautiful daughter, McKenna, who was the light of his life, in March 1997. He fell ill in 2008 and came back to Boise in 2012, he resided with his mother during his illness. His dad taught the boys to fish when they were little, they would rather fish than eat. He also loved to hunt and play golf with his father and enjoyed classical music and was an artist.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Lee; his grandparents, and is survived by his father, mother, and daughter McKenna, along with his many friends. We love and miss you, Dad.

I'm so grateful that you were my son and that I had the opportunity to take care of you. I'll love you forever. -Mom
