Vilma Marina Perez

Vilma Marina Perez, 83, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2018, in Ashland, Oregon, surrounded by her daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren.

Vilma was born July 18, 1935 in Managua, Nicaragua, to the late Carlos and Salvadora Perez. She was sister to the late Carlos Perez, Jr. and is survived by her other siblings, Juan A. Perez, Lilliam Perez, Candida Landa, Alba Gomez, and Salvadora Perez of Miami, Florida; Efrain Perez of Hayward, California; and Nora FariƱas of Managua,Nicaragua.

Vilma made her home in San Francisco, California for over 50 years, where she raised her daughters Vilma Silva (David Wood) of Ashland, Oregon; Patricia Neyshloss (Mark Neyshloss) of Lafayette, California; and Martha Silva-Thwaites (Daniel Silva-Thwaites) of Pinole, California, who survive her, as well as her grandchildren Julia and Daniel Neyshloss, and Mathew Silva-Thwaites.

Her last years were spent in Ashland, Oregon, in the care of her daughter Vilma and son-in-law David, and supported by the kind caretakers of Northridge Center.

For Vilma, the center of her life was her love for the Lord and for her family. We rejoice in her everlasting love.

There will be a celebration of her life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette, California, commencing at 10AM, followed by a reception.
