Raymond Hein

Raymond Richard Hein passed away, at the age of 81, at Hearthstone Rehabilitation Center, on September 3, 2018. Raymond had lived most of the last year of his life at Pioneer Village, in Jacksonville, and he spoke endearingly of his time there, referring to it as his home.

Raymond is predeceased by his father, Richard Rudolph Hein.

Raymond is survived by his mother, Helen Hein, his sister, Maryann Davenport, his niece, Michelle Long, his nephew, Robert Ford, and his grand nephews, Andrew Ford and Alekzander Ford.

Raymond was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up, and attended high school, in Montana. He later moved to Oregon and took college courses in electronics, subsequently working as an electrician in the Rogue Valley for many years.

Raymond was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville, serving as a deacon. He was also skilled at leathercraft and beadwork; and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Crater Rock Museum and Gift Shop.

The memorial service for Raymond will take place at First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville, at 11AM, on September 29, 2018.
