Margie Nell Gleim

Margie Nell Gleim, 93, Talent, Oregon, passed away at Northridge Center, Phoenix, Oregon. She was born October 12, 1925 in Midland, Texas to Henry and Maurine Currie. In 1942 in Reno, Nevada she married George C. Gleim.

She graduated from Talent high school and worked as a dental receptionist/assistant for Daniel Engel in Ashland, Oregon for 28 years.

Her hobbies included traveling, golf, card games, and Bingo. She belonged to the Seniors, Elks, Lions, and Co. Volunteer Driver.

Margie is survived by her son, George C. Gleim Jr, Medford, OR; daughter, Linda G. Rombach, Sunriver, OR; sisters, Carol Gillespie, Chico, CA and Kay Parks, Tucson, AZ; brother, Sonny Currie, Montague, CA; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-children, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, George Gleim; and sisters, Doris White, Joyce Pidcock, and Shirley Rose.

There will be a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. August 23, 2019 at Eagle Point National Cemetery with Sara Bieniek, a family member, officiating. There will be a gathering and potluck for family and friends that would like to come after the service at George's home. Please feel free to call 541-301-5791 for any information and directions.
