Lynda Marie Weiss

September 19, 1957 - July 29, 2018

Lynda would like to let you know that her work here is done. She was born in Fresno,California to Wes C. and Patricia Stanfield. She moved to Medford when she was around 3 yrs old and enjoyed her schooling in the Central Point Schools where she graduated in 1975. Lynda passed away from gastric cancer.

She was married to Ralph W. Weiss Jr. and they later divorced. Later she married Gregg Springer. They enjoyed a sunrise wedding at Crater Lake which was one of her favorite places.

Lynda was a journeyman plumber, she worked for Curtius Huntley Plumbing, she owned and operated Rose Plumbing and owned and operated Cleaning by Lynda Weiss. She was a blue collar kinda gal working in a timber mill, operation of a hot dog cart, operated a bakery service making scones, worked at a medical supply manufacturer and worked at a printed circuit manufacturer. Lynda was always working on building another new business. Lynda was a board director at Rescue Ranch of Yreka.

Family, friends and animals were always special to her and she was always very generous and found great satisfaction in helping others. She a had a big caring heart for the underdogs in life.

She enjoyed embroidered pillowcases on her pillows, gardening and keeping a few chickens.

All of us want to genuinely express thanks for the wonderful cancer treatment from all of the staff at Hematology Oncology Associates, especially Dr. Allison Savage and her surgeon Dr. Mark Eaton.

Lynda was preceded in death by her father Wes Stanfield and brother Doug Stanfield. She leaves behind her loving husband Gregg; mother, Pat Jacobson; sister, Carol Callahan; brother-in-law, Dick Callahan; brother, Brian Stanfield and niece, Breanna Stanfield.

Lynda says, It's been a good run! She will always be remembered for her smile and loving heart.

Life has lost a really extraordinary person and will be greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of life, Friday August 10, from 2-5 at Twin Creeks Park - 555 Twin Creeks Crossing, Central Point.
