Marie Culver made her journey into Heaven February

3, 2019. Marie was born September 14, 1925 in Davenport, Florida to Alma Baker Linder and John Baker.

Marie grew up working in her mother's grocery store. She was a good Christian woman and loved singing in church One of her favorite verses in the Bible "l can do all things through Christ who strengthens me", Philippians 4:13. She learned at a very young age to always treat others the way you want to be treated. She enjoyed visiting with and helping others, especially the elderly.

On December 8, 1944 in Kissimmee, Florida she married Jack C. Culver. They had 5 children and lived in Orlando, Florida. In August of 1959 Marie and Jack headed for Alaska with their family. it was their dream to build a log cabin and live in the wild. While stopping to visit relatives in the Rogue Valley however, they decided to stay and settled down with their family in Jacksonville, Oregon. Marie taught her children love of the Lord and of family. She was a wonderful southern cook and it carries on in her children.

In 1977 Jack and Marie moved to Priest River, Idaho and built their dream cabin on 5 acres. The winters were very hard there and in 1987 they moved to Palm Bay, Florida where they built another home. In 1993 Jack suffered an aneurism and a stroke which left him in a wheel chair. In 2008 they lost their home to Arson. With the loss of their home and Jacks health they decided it best to build an addition on to their daughter Betty and son-in-law Jim's home which gave them their own private living quarters. Betty and Jim took care of them both until Jacks death in 2011 and Marie's recent passing.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stanley Baker, husband Jack Culver, oldest son Gary Culver, grandson Gary Culver Jr. and son-in-law Larry Godley. She leaves behind her sister Marjorie Duran, her children Jack Culver (Jona) Libby, Montana, Gloria Godley Libby, Montana, Betty Park (Jim) Palm Bay, Florida, Kathy Donnelly (Ken) Eagle Point Oregon, and former daughter-in-law, Kay Anaya, Medford. She leaves 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren all of whom she loved deeply and remembered in prayer daily.

It is with great sadness for us and much rejoicing for you, that we say so long for now, Mom. We will be together again someday. Until then, we love you so very much and thank you for being such a wonderful devoted Mother.

Marie's Services to be held at a later date.
